Govinda Dasa Pre-University College: PU toppers attribute success to hard work, support by parents and faculty

The Management of Hindu Vidyadayinne Sangha Surathkal and Govinda Dasa Pre-University College organised a felicitation function to honour the three Rank Holders - Ankitha, Bindiya L Shetty and Ramyshri.on 2^nd May 2018 at Gonvida Dasa Pre-University College. The proud parents, the President of Trust, Mr. E Janardhan, Secretary of the Trust, Mr. Venkat Rao, the Principal of Pre-University College, Ms Lakshmi P, the PTA President, Mr. Ramachandra Rao were present on the stage.

The Principal appreciated the efforts of rank holders and felt glad about the splendid achievements. Ms. Sunitha, Vice Principal of Govinda Dasa Pre-university College, introduced the rank holders.

Ankitha P has bagged the second rank in the state level in the II PUC Science stream. She scored 595 out of the total 600 marks.Ankitha who scored hundred per cent marks in Physics Chemistry and Statistics was just one short of 100 in Mathematics and Sanskrit. She scored 97 in English Ankitha is also a student of Expert Coaching Class of Mangaluru, Daughter of Prasad A and Bharathi. Ankrtha aspires to be an engineer. She studied up to SSLC in Delhi Public School of MRPL Her father serves as a Manager in MRPL.

Bindiya LShetty bagged Fifth Rank in Commerce Stream. She scored 591 marks out of 600 marks. She secured 100 marks in Accounts and Sankrith, 99 marks in English and Business Studies.

Ramyshri also bagged Fifth Rank in Commerce, scoring a total of 591 marks. She got 100 in Sanskrit, 100 in English, 100 in Business Studies and 100 in Accounts.

The Management felicitated the Rank holders with memento, Shaul and a small token of cheque of Rs. 10,000 to each rank holders. Mr. Venkat Rao, the Secretary of the HV Sangha, appreciating the efforts of three golden girls, appealed to the present batch to emulate the foot prints of rank holders. The President of HV Sangha lauded the efforts of students, their parents and also the faculty members creating an impression in the minds of stakeholder.

The Rank Holders appreciated the support given by the faculty, parents and friends. Mr. Venkataramana compered the programme and Ms. Shilpa proposed a vote of thanks.

The Pre-University College got excellent results including 150 First Class, 95 Distinction and 87% result.
